The movie is about a Marketing teacher who touches the lives of two students while trying to win his wife back. Lynette, one of the teenagers, lost her mother to cancer and is trying to adjust to this major lifestyle change. Devante, the other teenager, was put on probation and would have to go to jail if he doesn't graduate high school. Come see this entertaining feature length film for all ages. Laying My Past to Rest was shot agressively in 7 days. The cast rehearsed for two days a week for two months prior to filming. Every cast member read the book to its entirety and mastered their character. Everyone on the crew was pleased on how well the cast knew their lines and marks. They really brought this story to life! The feature film is 108 minutes with twists and turns all the way through.
